This super-simple recipe will add loads of flavor to a great BBQ side dish.
1 bunch fresh asparagus
2 TBS red wine vinegar
1 TBS sesame oil
1 TBS low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp black pepper
shaved parmesan, for garnish
Assemble ingredients except parmesan. Cut woody end of stems from asparagus. In a resealable bag, add all ingredients and marinate for at least 30 minutes, better for 2+ hours.
Prepare a grill to run at medium hot+. Using a grilling basket or placing the spears crossways from the grates, place the spears down and grill for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally. Grill until done, and grill marks are evident.
Remove from grill, sprinkle with parmesan, and serve.
